Institutional cooperation for capacity building of universities and local authorities for Democratic and Economic Governance and peace building in South Sudan and Ethiopia (Project SSD-13/0022)

The project (SSD-13/0022) is funded by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) and ends 31.12.2020. A contract between Norad and the main project partner, University of Juba, South Sudan, stipulates what is agreed between Norad and the main project partner. A partner contract between Noragric and the University of Juba stipulates what is agreed between these two partners regarding the implementation of the project.

The Centre for African Research is tasked with 1) Individual Key Informant Interviews (semi-structured in-depth): 60 Key Informants in districts in Northern Uganda hosting S. Sudanese refugees 2)Focus group discussions: 20 Focus Groups in districts in Northern Uganda hosting S. Sudanese refugees 3) Transcribing the above Key Informant Interviews and Focus Group Discussions into English language and 4) Collecting secondary data from the districts in Northern Uganda hosting S. Sudanese refugees.
