Partnership for Education in Refugee-Host Contexts: Joint learning towards food security and sustainable development in Uganda (Project number NORPART-2021/10508)

The overarching goal of the project is to contribute towards enhancing the quality of higher education in Uganda and Norway focusing on the theme 'Food security and sustainable development in refugee host contexts'. This will be achieved through North-South-South cooperation between NMBU in Norway and Makerere University (Mak) and Gulu University (GU) in Uganda, and through internship placement with the Norwegian Refugee Council in Norway and NGO/Community placements in Uganda facilitated by the Centre for African Research. The long-term collaboration is aimed at integrating refugees into the higher education system of Uganda. The objectives and activities are aligned towards achieving the overarching goal.
